Sustainable Unidome technology in the highly stressed ceiling of a production hall in Switzerland

An assembly and production hall in Tegerfelden, Switzerland, is currently being extended and expanded. Sustainable Unidome hollow core slab technology is being used in combination with shear force reinforcement in floor-level beams for the wide-span and highly loaded reinforced concrete floors. The Unidome XS 260 (290) hollow core slabs save approx. 0.13 cubic meters of concrete per square meter of hollow core surface and thus reduce the dead load by approx. 320 kg per square meter. Together with the engineering office MWV Bauingenieure AG (Ljupko Perić), Unidome was able to develop a customized solution for this project, which can be implemented quickly and easily on site by the construction company Birchmeier Gruppe Bau AG. Unidome Group would like to thank them for their excellent cooperation.‍
